About Viva By Design
(Founder Story)

Viva By Design was built from real experience and real transformation.
My journey from 289 lbs. to 194 lbs. taught me that lasting results don’t come from quick fixes, they come from discipline, structure, and proper nutrition.
But my story didn’t start there.
I grew up active, involved in sports, and connected to a disciplined lifestyle. My time serving in the military played a major role in shaping my mindset, reinforcing discipline, structure, accountability, and resilience, values that continue to guide how I train, coach, and live today. Over time, I lost that structure. Poor habits took over, energy dropped, and I found myself living a life that didn’t reflect who I truly was. There came a point where I was constantly tired, out of breath, and uncomfortable in my own body. That’s when I made a decision: enough is enough.
That decision changed everything.
As a father raising daughters involved in sports and as a basketball coach, I knew I had to become the example I wanted them to follow. With over 10 years of coaching experience and multiple certifications, I fully committed to the process, studying and applying how nutrition, training, and mindset directly impact performance, confidence, and overall health.
Today, I live what I teach. I train, I stay active, and I continue to grow, not just physically, but mentally.
As an AAU Basketball Coach and Health & Performance Specialist, I’ve seen it firsthand: Many athletes focus only on skills, but the ones who truly separate themselves build the right foundation, nutrition, conditioning, and mindset.
The same applies to everyday life.
People often say they want to look better, feel better, or perform better, but real change comes from building habits, staying consistent, and committing to the process.
That’s what Viva By Design stands for.
This is not about shortcuts or temporary motivation.
It’s about discipline, structure, and long-term growth.
My mission is simple:
To lead by example, to challenge athletes and individuals to grow, and to help them build the habits, confidence, and mindset needed to succeed, on the court and in life.
If you're ready to take control of your health, your performance, and your habits, let’s get to work!
